I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Fowler on his talk, which was one of our alumni talks from the first TEDxSanDiego conference in 2010. In this talk, given on December 3, 2011, he shows the surprising impacts TEDx has on social networks.
I became one of the curators for TEDxSanDiego, and it completely changed my life. I’ll be featuring talks from the people I coached (some more, some less) as they are posted. I loved coaching so much that I’m now offering it as a professional service. If you’re giving a TEDx talk, or simply want in-depth speaker coaching, please contact me for more information. I can help with talk structure, image and slide creation to support a talk, stage presence, or all of the above. (I do not charge for my services when working to support TEDxSanDiego.)
For this talk, I helped Dr. Fowler with editing, timing, and advised a bit on slide design. He is the co-author of Connected: The Surprising Power of Our Social Networks and How They Shape Our Lives.
